Looking at the presidential hopeful's platforms, i've started to realize... I might actually vote this time. Shockign, I know, but it looks like the democrats actually found someone in Obama. A plug for a presidential nominee? Yep, that's what this entry's starting to look like.

I know, politicians are all crooked, and i know that the worst people to run a country are the people who want to, but after some reading, I've realized that there's somethign to what he's saying. What stuck out the most? Hybrid's for Health. Apparently, he has a plan to not only help out detoit auto makers, but also their retirees, and the whole environment thing. The plan? Take on some of the burden of health care for the retirees, in return for the auto makers producing hybrids and more fuel efficient cars. Call me crazy, but that just might work. And it could incourage the big 3 to stay in the US (i dont' think he'd be willing to pay for mexico's healthcare system)

Mostly, i thikn i like it because it looks like he has a plan, rather than strictly criticizing the current administration, he's promoting a plan. I like this positive campaigning thing. Whereas some people look to the candidate's religious affiliation for their moral stance, i prefer to look at their campaign stratigies. This of course may change, but I'm thinking hillary's going to be the one doing the negative campaigning. Just a hunch, i suppose.

anyways, sorry to waste your time, i'm sure you've heard all sorts of things about the candidates but i thought this was pretty interesting.
